The Foundation for Family Businesses and Politics supports family businesses in a variety of ways. The business environment of familyowned companies is changing more dramatically than ever before. Globalisation, a shortage of skilled workers, digital transformation, security measures for individuals and businesses (e.g. cyber security), public and (social) media perceptions, and the political conditions in Germany, Europe and the world are just a few of the challenges that family businesses have to face. The Foundation for Family Businesses and Politics provides family-owned companies with personalised services in all of these areas.

  • The Foundation for Family Businesses and Politics is politically neutral.
  • The foundation’s governance ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with the objectives laid down in the Articles of Association. All members of the Executive Board and the Board of Trustees work on a voluntary basis.
  • The Foundation for Family Businesses and Politics is financed through service contracts with family businesses. 
  • The Foundation for Family Businesses and Politics does not accept any public funding.
  • The Foundation for Family Businesses and Politics fulfils its data protection obligations as set out in the EU General Data Protection Regulation, among other things. This includes the careful handling of personal data. 
  • The foundation is subject to legal supervision by the Stuttgart regional council.
